AZ Qualified Charities 2024
Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCOs) and Qualifying Foster Care Charitable Organizations (QFCOs) are certified by the Arizona Department of Revenue to receive contributions eligible for the tax credit. This certification only pertains to the Arizona tax credit program. The State of Arizona provides a dollar-for-dollar tax credit that directly reduces individual or joint filer owed Arizona income taxes, subject to allowable annual limits.
For QCOs the 2024 allowable limits are: $938 for married filing jointly, and $470 for single, head of household or married filing separate. For QFCOs the 2024 allowable limits are: $1,173 for married filing jointly, and $587 for single, head of household or married filing separate. All tax credits can be used in combination with other tax credits, like public and private school credits.
